Siobhan Healy(BA Hons)uses crystal to create her delicate glass pieces. her work is based on microscopic views of plants and plant cells,these details of plant anatomy can assume an abstract quality. Siobhan states "...the intention is that the work will connect with people on a deeper level, to evoke distant memories and to conjure up reassuring feelings invoked by nature." Currently showing work in The Scottish Glass Society Annual exhibition, Collins gallery, Richmond St , Glasgow. July 1st until August 12th
