After finishing her studies at London Metropolitan University, Aki Mori lived in Milan and completed one year apprentice under an Italian craftsman. In the last two years following graduation she received awards and prizes from Goldsmiths’ Company and British Jewellery Association. Aki Mori creates jewellery inspired by floral organic shapes and traditional Japanese crafts. She uses silver, gold and alternative materials to achieve delicate and intricate jewellery. While maintaining her personal style, each collection varies through continuous research of different techniques.
